Wink

    I tumbled to a site with very detailed instructions how to recell a beaulieu battery pack. And now when I would need the the instructions ...I just can't find the page anymore!! (I been looking about an hour and a half)

    I yesterday re-celled my first Beaulieu battery. Process was wery difficult for me, because I don't have any experience on that and I also didn't have the right size batterys. So my hands have lots of small cuts and the battery doesn't look so "professional" (actually not even close *laughs*), but it works and I'm happy

    ...now to the tip -->

    I heard that opening the battery is the most difficult part of the process. Ok, I went to a shop that sells tools for clocks and watches and got me the same tool that they show on this page...

    http://www.bondy.de/beaulieu/4008battery.html

    In the shop the guy told me to heat the battery up a little bit. I tried to open it first without heating but it was really hard and I couldn't move it at all! ...So I turn on the hotplate and put the battery on it for only about 4 seconds and opened it without allmost any force!!! So try this when you are re-celling your Beaulieus. Maybe my battery was not so tight or something, but I think the heating did the trick... (and the battery was on the hotplate for only about 4 seconds)
